     Hmm life provides challenges as lessons to be learned. Turning away from the world out of frustration and than going for developing psychic powers is not the best path and evolutionary not beneficial. If you have difficulties handling situations in the world, don’t think it will be any easier away from society with supernatural powers. There will be much more challenges and things to deal with. It is better to first build character and build a strong foundation through personal development.

   It is about taking conscious awareness to ever deeper levels of the subconscious. In this process one sort of upgrades the bandwidth of conscious awareness. Reading books alone doesn’t take conscious attention to other levels of consciousness, in fact it keeps it mostly at the same. One needs to be actively involved, train the mind, not fill it with more and more concepts without practical value or application. You can start with The Zensation Manual
